What Mind Machines are for:
Sleep, Relaxation, Concentration and Energizing
All machines contain the same four basic programs.
The machines differ by number of pre-installed programs and the ability
to create and edit programs.
What mind machines do:
They alter your senses. You see flickering
light through the glasses and you hear two different tones through the
headphones. The brain follows either or both. If you are
reading/studying you use only the headphones. If you want to
sleep, relax or energize yourself you use headphones and glasses.
Visualize someone who is reading and
concentrating. They are probably tapping a finger or a pencil on
the table. They are naturally inducing a tone that will
entrain the brain.
The sleep and relaxation programs are like sitting
in front of a fire and hearing a drum beat. The eyes are an
extension of the brain and respond to watching the fire. The ears
hear a rhythmic sound and the brain synchronizes the two sounds into a
tone. All of this comes together to induce a state of relaxation
or sleep.
The energizing programs provide visually and
auditory stimulating. They wake up/excite the brain.
How big are the machines?
The machines are slightly bigger than a pack of
cigarettes. Advanced micro technology makes it possible to have
the machines work alone or interface with a computer. Mind
machines are powered by batteries. You can take them anyplace -
avoid the hot tub and bathtub. Depending on the freshness of the
batteries you will get about 90 hours of use from them.
